BIOGRAPHY OF COLONEL BERNARD NDIHO

Biography of Colonel Bernard NDIHO

The AJMPD was founded by a Colonel of the Burundi National Defense Force (NDFB) who, after being repatriated, was sensitive to the difficulties encountered by young returnees in the face of the Burundian education system due to the fact that they grew in English-speaking education systems in force in the countries where they had gone into exile since 1972. It is in this context that he considered that the establishment of a Linguistic and cultural integration center (L.C.I.C) was beneficial to fill the gaps of young returnees in order to adapt themselves to the Burundian educational system, which is intended to be French-speaking. The establishment of this LCIC was part of the aim of supporting the Government of Burundi in its educational policy.

In this chapter we will therefore approach the biography of this illustrious personality, a patriot touched not only by a great desire to his Nation, devoted and enamored of peace and the development of his country, but also and above all concerned about the cause of Burundian youth as a driving force for the integrated and integral development of Burundi.
